CassonsJMA provided architectural services to Australand Property Group for this pair of warehouses, each with their own office. The site is located in an industrial estate in the fast growing area off the M7 near the junction with the M4 in western Sydney. The project comprises a steel framed warehouse structure with precast concrete panel walls and two offices built on post tensioned concrete suspended slabs. There is an external heavy duty concrete loading area located between the warehouses and Wonderland Drive, which is used by both warehouses. While based in Melbourne, JMA has no difficulties adapting to the regulatory and construction frameworks of the Sydney location, and communication among the design team was easily achieved at all times both through meetings held locally and via electronic media. |
